Q&A:
Q: How many buttons can I connect to the IPH? A: You can have the harness made with 1 to 6 buttons. If you need more than 6, you can use our IPM+ and we can make a custom harness for you.
Q: How long can the harness be and can I space out the buttons as I wish? A: The harness can be made up to 100'. Yes, you can space out the buttons as you wish, for example: Distance from player to 1st button - 8', distance from 1st button to 2nd button - 2', distance from 2nd button to 3rd, 4th and 5th - 6".
Q: What buttons can we choose for the harness? A: We have 16mm and 25mm stainless steel buttons in 5 colors. We also have small, medium, and large plastic buttons in 5 colors. We also manufacture a "touch-less" button.
Q: What is this harness used for? A: With the Interplay Harness (IPH), you put the player into interactive mode and load the video files onto a USB or SD Card. The video files need to have specific names so the player knows what video to play when a button is pressed. You will need a video named 000.xxx (xxx = whatever the file extension is like MP4, MOV, or VOB). This 000.xxx file is the file the player automatically starts playing on power up and repeats until a button is pressed. When button #1 is pressed it will play the file named 001.xxx. When it finishes the player will go back to playing the 000.xxx file. When button #2 is pressed it will play the file named 002.xxx. When it finishes the player will go back to playing the 000.xxx file. And so forth.
